BIZKIDZ.COM

Letter To Parents

Dear Parents,

I am thinking that your child just pulled you over to the computer to "check out" BIZKIDZ.COM. As a mother of four children, I value and understand the importance of knowing what my children are doing online. I commonly ask the usual parental questions, "Is it safe?", "What is the content?", and "What is the purpose?"

What is the purpose?

Knowing your time is valuable, I quickly want to share what BIZKIDZ.COM believes. BIZKIDZ.COM is a website that offers the opportunity for a child to create his/her own unique store and earn real money! We want to help motivate and ignite the spark of ambition in your child by offering a starting place from where your child can launch their own small business - all within the safe environment of their own family and friends.

When we were young, many of us earned spending money by mowing lawns, operating a paper route, or babysitting the neighbor's kids. These jobs taught us a lot about responsibility, self-satisfaction, and the pride that accompanies earning our own money.

Managing a BIZKIDZ.COM store offers these same values for children. The more effort they put into their BIZKIDZ.COM store, the greater the reward!

Many of our friends and family members already buy products online today...

  • Office supplies
  • Travel
  • Flowers
  • Electronics
  • Groceries
  • Gifts

These are all common purchase made in any given month by our friends, family, and friends of friends. Why not tap into that existing market and have them purchase name brand merchandise from well-known retailers such as Wal-Mart, Macy's, Office Depot, and many more through a child's store? Accessing familiar retailers through a child's BIZKIDZ.COM store allows a budding BIZKIDZ.COM business owner to earn 90% of the commission paid by the retail merchants. The remaining ten percent will be given to one of many charitable organizations. BIZKIDZ.COM does not take a penny of the child's commission.

Our "giving back" philosophy

We believe in giving back to the community and want to teach this social responsibility to our BIZKIDZ.COM storeowners as well. Ten percent of each child's earnings will be donated to one of many listed charitable organizations. (Please note: there is no extra markup on the products sold through a BIZKIDZ.COM store. The pricing is identical to the prices shown on each merchant's website).

Is it safe?

We ask that you act as the "Chairperson of the Board" for your child's store. Our team has diligently tried to make BIZKIDZ.COM as secure as we know how. Your child's store is not open to the general public. The only people allowed into your child's BIZKIDZ.COM store are those that are sent an email or given the URL address by your child. Initially, your child will be promoting their new store to their friends and family - so they may need your help with email addresses to add to their "Contact List". These will be their first customers. As contact lists expand, customers may be "friends of friends". We ask that you regularly check your child's store and review the activity and the contact list they have developed.

What is the content?

Our BIZKIDZ.COM team looks at each retailer and their product offerings. We do our best to filter what we deem "not child friendly." However, we cannot guarantee that a particular item offered by one of our retailers is going to meet your or our "child friendly" standards. There are millions of products and it is impossible for us to view every item. (Please let us know if something slips through)! Parents - your discernment is the final word. Your guidance and support will ensure success for you entrepreneur!

Lastly, BIZKIDZ.COM has been designed to offer the same opportunity my children have had operating their own lemonade stands over the years. Keeping a creatively fun, safe, entrepreneurial, and educational experience in mind has been the goal from day one. Launching this company is brand new territory and a new learning experience for this mom of four, but I believe it is definitely worth treading in uncharted water to offer children the chance to create a business and earn some money! Changes and upgrades will be a constant focus. You will find many of your questions about BIZKIDZ.COM answered in the Q and A link.

My hope is that you will allow your child to register today and test their entrepreneurial talents. A small BIZKIDZ.COM store may be the first step towards a successful future as the CEO of a dynamic business!

Sincerely,

Linda Raasch
